Eu RASFF Notification on Food Contact Products to China – Jan – Mar 2022

From January to March 2022, the EU RASFF notified 73 cases of food contact violations, of which 48 were from China, accounting for 65.8%. As many as 29 cases were reported due to the use of plant fiber (bamboo fiber, corn, wheat straw, etc.) in plastic products, followed by the amount of migration exceeds the standard of primary aromatic amines. Related companies should pay special attention!
