From October to November 2021, RASFF reported a total of 60 violations of food contact products, of which 25 were from China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). As many as 21 cases were reported due to the use of plant fiber (bamboo fiber, corn, wheat straw, etc.) in plastic products. Relevant enterprises should pay attention to it!
Anbotek hereby reminds relevant enterprises that the plastic materials and products containing plant fiber are illegal products and should be immediately withdrawn from the EU market.
